Dr. Starkweather makes the news!

Each year area residents "Share Their Soles" with the needy by bringing new or used shoes and boots to Dr. Tina Starkweather's office during the holiday season.

Residents are asked to bring practical shoes and boots - men' s, women' s, and children's - that are in good condition to Dr. Starkweather's office. The shoes/boots will then be distributed during January and February to local shelters, families, charities, and to stores that serve low-income residents throughout the area.

"Many people do not realize that used footwear is a much needed donation, particularly during the winter months when a warm, dry pair of shoes is a necessity," said Dr. Starkweather.
